House Bill 402 requires Georgia school districts to provide water safety education.
House Bill 402 requires Georgia school districts to provide water safety education information annually to parents and guardians of students under 18 years of age and directly to students who are 18 years of age or older. Water safety is so important for everyone raising children in Georgia. Therefore, we are sharing resources from House Bill 402 from the Georgia Assembly of Georgia, The American Red Cross, and the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) to achieve and sustain a zero-drowning rate among children in the state of Georgia. Below are links that will direct you to various websites for instructions on water safety resources.
