Neal Christian
Head of School
Neal Christian has over 20 years of experience on the primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. As a teacher, he is known for his ability to sharpen students’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills. As an experienced school leader, Neal uses his transformational leadership skills to build the capacity of faculty and staff he serves to improve student achievement.
Neal has facilitated numerous professional development sessions throughout Georgia on topics, such as culturally relevant pedagogy, implementing high-performance mathematics tasks, co-teaching models in the mathematics classroom, unpacking standards, and developing the Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMPs) within students. He also presented at the European Teacher Education Network conference in Liverpool, England.
Neal is a proud veteran of the United State Navy, which offered him a full college scholarship. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor degree in Spanish. After working in the fields of Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering, Neal decided to pursue a career in the field of education. He received a master’s degree of Mathematics Education from Georgia State University in 2004 and a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in 2015. Neal is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Liberty University.
Neal is married to Mrs. Robin Christian, a turnaround school principal for Atlanta Public Schools. Their blended family includes Kennedy, Kenneth, and London. In his spare time, Neal loves to play golf and watch movies.

Eddie Lovett
Associate Head of School, Upper School
Mr. Lovett is a career educator with more than 10 years of experience. He joined BIA Charter School July of 2022. During his educational career, he has worked tirelessly to ensure that scholars and their families have access to rigorous content, restorative discipline practices, and opportunities to display their athletic prowess.
Prior to his employment at BIA Charter School, Mr. Lovett has served with Teach for America as a high school geometry and middle school mathematics teacher and has also served as a founding 8th Grade mathematics teacher, Dean of Students, and Athletic Director.
Mr. Lovett holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
Mr. Lovett and his wife have three children and two dogs.
Jennifer Bradley
Associate Head of School, Lower School
Mrs. Bradley’s career in education spans over 25 years. She is known for her commitment to excellence in education.
Mrs. Bradley has experience in both private and public education. She began her career in education serving as an art teacher at The Cathedral Preschool in Atlanta for over a decade. While at The Cathedral Preschool she redesigned and grew the after school program to feature enrichment opportunities to extend student learning. She then spent several years as a short and long term substitute teacher at Whitefield Academy in Mableton. Her entrée into public education began at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School and then Drew Charter School, both City of Atlanta Charter Schools. Mrs. Bradley joined BIA Charter School (then Brookhaven Innovation Academy) in July 2017 as an Upper School ELA Teacher.
At BIA, Mrs. Bradley has served in many capacities, including an Upper School ELA Teacher, the Upper School Lead Teacher, Instructional Coach, MTSS Coordinator, PBL (Project Based Learning) Coordinator, Assessment Coordinator, Title One Coordinator, Family Engagement Coordinator, and now the Associate Head of School for Lower School, as well as the Special Education Director. She continues to embrace Project Based Learning, engaging in professional development opportunities, including PBL 101, 201, and Coordinator endorsements, as well as attending PBL World in Napa, CA and High Tech High Expo in San Diego, CA. She is committed to the major three tenets of the BIA educational practice: Project Based Learning, Personalized Learning, and Coding, as well as supporting holistic learning for all students at BIA. She embraces and supports the unique learning opportunities that BIA is able to offer students, including participation in learning partnerships with private industry, other educational franchises, as well as public offerings. As such, she was fortunate to be able to support a group of twelve 8th grade students in learning about Japanese culture, culminating in chaperoning the group on a learning adventure to Japan during the 2018-2019 school year.
Mrs. Bradley holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University, having earned her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and Social Studies and graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brenau Women’s College. She holds endorsements in leadership, reading, as well as gifted education. Her graduate studies, included a teaching exchange program at Chengdu Normal University in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China.
Mrs. Bradley continues to be an active member of the community. She is a longtime supporter of education, as well as the arts. She has supported many educational institutions financially and as a volunteer. She has led parent organizations, facilitated special events, and led fund-raising initiatives. For many years, she served on the Board of Visitors at Rabun Gap-Nachoochee School, Dillard, GA, as well as a docent at the Atlanta History Center. She is a longtime member of the Junior League of Atlanta, A a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Tau Chapter. She also enjoys playing tennis, cooking, entertaining, and collecting antiques.
Mrs. Bradley and her fiancé, Tony Stewart, enjoy spending their time with their five children, nieces, and nephews, as well as traveling the world. To date, Mrs. Bradley has visited 4 continents, 19 countries, all 50 states, and most of the 159 counties in Georgia.
Mrs. Bradley was drawn to BIA for its vision – “to provide students with an education that maximizes the realization of their individual talents and prepares them for success in a technology and information driven 21st Century Economy.” She remains committed to fostering learning for all students.
